Balkan Trading is a private limited company supplying Egyptian ephemera to museum shops, exhibitions, gift shops and schools, and private customers.
The family business was acquired in 1997 and has grown to its present size to reflect the continuing interest in ancient Egypt.
There are important Egyptian collections in the principal museums of the UK, and we are proud to have supplied nearly every associated shop with Egyptian merchandise.

Balkan Trading prides itself on the wide selection and variety of goods that it supplies. From papyrus to pens and from jewellery to novelties, all the products are chosen with care, with the end user in mind – the school visitor or the family weekend visit to their local museum.
The business is also recognised by a growing number of schools and gift shops, not to mention private purchasers who shop online from home.
Most items come from Egypt direct and are produced there locally – and are, we believe, produced free from exploitation.
